When replacing an existing script with a newer version, the client needs to be triggered to download this updated script.

Evaluating which of these I want to use is a bit tricky since even the most limited, Spotlight, in Yosemite is quite powerful. I actually really like Spotlight but not being able to open a file with a non-default application is annoying. Quicksilver does this very nicely and works very well. I wanted to see what the other could do so I’ve downloaded them both; including Alfred’s powerpack and I’m giving them a whirl.
